Monday 30th March

Morning!  Hope everyone is well and safe, and not too fed up being stuck in!

I'm about to reset the grammar tests so have another go and see if you can improve your score!  I see that some of you have tried really hard and done lots of tests - well done!

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos at home.

Dear Parents,

Firstly, I hope you and your families are keeping safe and well.

I hope that you are finding the school website and class pages helpful in supporting you at home with teaching your children and keeping their learning going as best you can.

Thank you to all of you for your continued support and help. These are difficult times for all of us and we are trying our very best to support you all, in the best way we can.

Please don’t put too much pressure on yourselves in your new role as teachers, or on the children. You are all doing a great job! Give the children lots of praise and breaks during the day as they get used to their new routines.

Please check the website regularly for new information.

Also, incase you have not already seen it, on the website is a useful story book about corona virus written for children. If they are feeling anxious and worried about it, it explains it to them in a child friendly way.

Please contact me with any questions on my email (see class page contact.)

Take care everyone and stay safe.

Class 4

Welcome to the Class Learning Page!

Mrs Shilton, Miss Bartlett, Mrs Mitchell and I are excited about all the work which you can do at home, and look forward to seeing it when you get back to school!

Literacy

In class we are now writing our invention (in the style of Wallace and Gromit's Cracking Contraptions) including general description, diagram and labels.

You could do this too!  Some children are doing a chair which helps you to exercise and others are creating a Sports Bot!

Watch the film clip again on YouTube and then think about what amazing thing you can invent!

We will try to upload some of our finished work tomorrow to give you more ideas.

Have fun!

**Grammar

After you have completed a Spag.com test and identified areas to work on, use BBC Bitesize to read and learn about what you find tricky.  Good luck!

i see maths

In addition “i see maths” are doing video lessons for KS 1 from Tues 24th March and KS 2 from Mon 23rd March. There will be a series of challenges and games for the children to complete. Go on this website to view.

Tuesday 24th March

Good morning everyone!

I hope you are all healthy and being lovely!  I reset the grammar tests on Sunday so they can be redone and (hopefully) you will get higher marks!

I will look into reading activities today and put some on here tomorrow so you can begin to work through those.  You will need to choose a book you are reading, or one which you really like, to focus on with the tasks.

Has anyone done the Joe Wicks PE lesson yet?

Take care x

Update:

Please contact a.penegar@tiptoe.hants.sch.uk with any concerns or for help. These are new systems for us all but if we all work together we can do the best for our children.  We will do our best to respond within 24 hours as best we can.  Thank you for your support.
